14A – Halfway Reflection

1) One of the behaviors I have been doing in order to keep up with assignments is to keep an open mind. Some of these assignments have been tedious or seem like a lot to do at once, but I have just started to see them from a new perspective. I realized that dreading doing all the assignments cost me more energy than actually just sitting down and finishing them, so I have forced myself to think in a more positive light.

2) I felt like giving up when I had these. assignments due one day and an exam to study for that week. I felt overwhelmed, but I reminded myself that this is only temporary and that I got this. I also began to look at my assignments as lessons rather than homework because I noticed it forced me to actually sit down and do it without much complaint. I feel like I have developed a tenacious attitude throughout the past two months because I have noticed that my mindset on things has changed. In all of my classes, I have noticed that my attitude toward assignments has also developed so I feel like I have become more productive compared to this start of the semester.

3) I would suggest practicing time management from the start because the assignments begin to feel overwhelming. I would also suggest thinking outside of the box for each assignment because it will help in the development of your product idea. My last suggestion would be to change your perspective on the assignments so they can be seen as lessons rather than homework because it will make completing them a bit easier.
