30A – Final Reflection

1) Looking through all the assignments this semester I am proud to see that I was able to complete all of the assignments. I did struggle with time management with this class, but as the semester progressed I saw improvement. I am also happy with how my business mindset has changed throughout the semester. The assignments made me expand the way I throughout of things and reading my classmates' posts made me see these assignments from a new perspective. 2) The most formative thing that stands out to me about this experience is the fact that I was able to conduct a lot of interviews throughout the semester. It taught me about the importance of seeking opinions about ideas that I have because the outside perspective can be crucial when it comes to product success. The experience that I will remember the most is the amount of work that this class was. 1)  Opportunity :  The nature of the need is to focus on a smaller area of aid rather than attempting to collect funds for the never ended disaster in the world. This allows the donations to be of greater help rather than being spread thin. The changes in the environment creating this opportunity is the consistent natural disasters that have been occurring throughout the world. There are times when multiple disasters happen at once, so our organization will focus on a smaller scale and helping those in the United States that need assistance. The market is defined geographically by the organization existing in the United States to only aid those within the United States. Demographically the organization will internally be run by college students and funded by no demographic in particular. 28A – Your Exit Strategy

 in the next 5 years I would like to expand my organization into other college campuses. It would be a slow process in order to make sure the organizations that start are able to stabilize. This allows to the new organizations to start to rain successful rather than moving too fast to start multiple causing them to potentially fail. Since this organization is to be run by college students I will not be running it, but I will be sponsoring the UF chapter. I would also help find sponsors who might be interested in funding. If this organization were to survive for decades on campus I would inform my family about the legacy and to become involved if it is something they are passionate about. This organization is a great opportunity for them to become involved, but not have a lot of responsibility since it’s already established and they do not need to run it unless they would like to become executive members.  I picked this exit strategy because the USA Relief organization is one...

26A – Celebrating Failure

This semester I failed at trying to keep a fitness routine. I would start for a day or two and then I would have something come up that I would stop going. I kept on attempting to start again in hopes to get a routine going, but sadly I wasn’t able to stick with one. When I saw that I couldn’t stick with going to the gym I decided to attempt doing at home workouts, but that stopped also after one or two days of starting. This is something I have attempted to do for longer then just this semester because I want to get a routine going, but I always seem to find an excuse to break the gym streak I start to do.  I learned that I need to properly ease myself into going into the gym. If I go all in quickly I will lose the motivation to keep going. On day one I should do the minimum and slowly progress as I go. This will allow me to mentally prepare myself to start working out and also ease my body into working out. Sometimes when I go all in too quickly I become sore and lose the mot...

25A – What’s Next?

Existing Market:  1) I think that the future for my organization would be the continuous expansion of chapters on different college campuses. This will help to continue the expansion of aid that USA Relief will have on the United States. This will also expand the number of sponsors that will be willing to give free products to affected areas. 2) Since we did not have to interview people because of the current state of the world I decided to talk to my friends for their opinions on what I have planned next. They stated that my idea of wanting to start chapters on other college campuses is a great idea to spread my organization because there will be students who will want to see the organization succeed and decide to run for exec. They suggested that I need to establish more firm reasoning for more organization so it can stand out from other college organizations. The two types of customers are those who are wanting to volunteer or donate and those who are being aided by the organization.
