25A – What’s Next?

Existing Market: 

1) I think that the future for my organization would be the continuous expansion of chapters on different college campuses. This will help to continue the expansion of aid that USA Relief will have on the United States. This will also expand the number of sponsors that will be willing to give free products to affected areas.

2) Since we did not have to interview people because of the current state of the world I decided to talk to my friends for their opinions on what I have planned next. They stated that my idea of wanting to start chapters on other college campuses is a great idea to spread my organization because there will be students who will want to see the organization succeed and decide to run for exec. They suggested that I need to establish more firm reasoning for more organization so it can stand out from other college organizations. This way more students and sponsors will want to support the organization.

3) I think the best thing for me to do next is to do more research on what drives my target market to want to volunteer and sponsors and organizations like this. This way I am able to have a more solid idea of what type of wording and marketing will attract them to USA Relief. This will allow me to establish more solid reasoning for starting this organization and will help me distinguish this from other college organizations on campus. Right now USA Relief is a basic organization, but once I create a back story for it will be able to continue growing.

New Market: 

1) I am currently targeting college students who would be interested in volunteering for this organization. One new market I can reach out to is the local businesses in Gainesville that the organization will be reaching out to in the future to ask if they would like to sponsor. If I begin to reach out to them from now they will be able to keep this organization in mind, so when volunteers go and ask if they would like to participate they already have an idea of what the purpose of USA Relief is.

2) Since we are not conducting interviews I decided to research the business in the Gainesville community to see if they currently sponsor any organization like mine. I want to see how these organizations market themselves to see how I am distinguishing USA Relief from them, but make sure the wording stays a bit aligned to this type of organization that seeks donations.

3) What surprised me in this new market is that many businesses do not publish if they are sponsoring any organizations on their platforms. This made my research more difficult because I was not able to trace back to these organizations. I decided just to research different campuses organizations that ask for sponsorships and donations. I realized that they all distinguish themselves well from one another, so as an organization it is important to do so.
