8A – Solving The Problem

In my previous blog post, I discuss the current state of Puerto Rico and how its people are not
receiving the needed aid for them to properly survive in the South. Since January they have been
having daily earthquakes that have left many without homes and without basic necessities. 
My proposed solution to this problem is to start an on-campus organization for American relief. This
organization will focus on the collection of funds and donations needed for states and territories that
are affected by natural disasters. For example, if a major hurricane were to hit Florida and destroy
homes this organization would begin to contact potential donors to help these affected areas and
begin advertising on a local level to receive any help if possible. 


This organization can potentially spread to other college campuses to begin an initiative of younger
people taking action and helping those in the world around us.

    Hi Natasha! Thank you for sharing your post with us! I truly enjoyed reading the solution to the problem of crisis relief. You proposed a solution composed of many small solutions to solve a large problem. By creating student organizing in college campuses you build network of people working for one cause. It will be interesting to see how this idea plays in building the character of entrepreneurship. Also, I wanted to mention that your text seems to run across the page instead of vertically and made it kinda hard to read. Overall, great post.

    Hi there Natasha,

    I believe that you are spot on with this post. I feel as though a big issue is the lack of information getting to students around the country about damaged areas such as puerto rico. That being said, I wonder how these kids will gain a better understanding of the desperate situation at hand. I feel as tho that is where the issue is.

30A – Final Reflection

1) Looking through all the assignments this semester I am proud to see that I was able to complete all of the assignments. I did struggle with time management with this class, but as the semester progressed I saw improvement. I am also happy with how my business mindset has changed throughout the semester. The assignments made me expand the way I throughout of things and reading my classmates' posts made me see these assignments from a new perspective. 2) The most formative thing that stands out to me about this experience is the fact that I was able to conduct a lot of interviews throughout the semester. It taught me about the importance of seeking opinions about ideas that I have because the outside perspective can be crucial when it comes to product success. 25A – What’s Next?

Existing Market:  1) I think that the future for my organization would be the continuous expansion of chapters on different college campuses. This will help to continue the expansion of aid that USA Relief will have on the United States. This will also expand the number of sponsors that will be willing to give free products to affected areas. 2) Since we did not have to interview people because of the current state of the world I decided to talk to my friends for their opinions on what I have planned next. They stated that my idea of wanting to start chapters on other college campuses is a great idea to spread my organization because there will be students who will want to see the organization succeed and decide to run for exec.
